Traditionally, a joinery firm would measure up and construct essential wooden structures for a building in the workshop, and these would then be fitted by an on-site carpenter.
Such items might include Box Sash Windows, Staircases and Banisters, Bespoke Doors & Frames, some types of Panelling, Roof Lanterns, Cupboards / Cabinets and Decorative Woodwork.
Joinery also extends to free-standing furniture.
