We mill our own timber from sustainable sources, dry it in our on-site kilns, design and construct stunning furniture and plant new trees to complete the cycle.

Not everyone gets as excited about timber as we do.
There is nothing we like more than spending a day in the woods milling trees, seeing the pattern of the grain emerge and imagining how we could create some splendid furniture from it.

We source high quality English timber, predominantly from inside the M25.
Over the last few years we have built some great relationships with local foresters and tree surgeons who let us mill fallen and coppiced trees into boards that we then dry in our kilns.
We handle a number of different types of wood.
Most of the time we are able to source Oak, Ash, Beech, London Plane, Elm, Birch, Cedar and Chestnut, to name a few.

We then use chainsaw mills to cut the trees into usable and uniform thickness boards ready to be dried.
By using small mobile mills we're able to access trees in even the most inaccessible locations.
Once we transport the boards back to our workshop we sticker and stack them under cover in our yard to air dry.
After that, they go into our custom built kilns to get the moisture content down to around 12% - perfect for indoor furniture.
We then use chainsaw mills to cut the trees into usable and uniform thickness boards ready to be dried.
