Dancing Seagrass Table: my interest in dance and sculpture led to this successful steambending experiment. Leaf Table in Oxfordshire olive ash: this design combines sculptural qualities with functional needs. Cherry Tree Compass Seat: you can enjoy this lovely seat at the Cherry Tree pub in Stoke Row, Oxfordshire. I'm a designer-craftsman dedicated to designing and making bespoke furniture for people who appreciate beautiful, sustainable woods and craftsmanship.
My bespoke designs are based on a dialogue with clients through which needs and aspirations are identified. My designs have evolved to include a wide range of domestic furniture, from simple budget-conscious coffee tables to highly complex cabinet making. I also undertake corporate and institutional commissions, including ecclesiastical projects. My focus is on designing enduring practical furniture that celebrates the rich diversity of local indigenous woods.
My studio-workshop operates Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm. It is based in rural South Oxfordshire, within easy reach of the towns of Henley-on-Thames, Wallingford, Oxford and Reading as well as London, Bath, Bristol.
