We are based in Dalton-in-Furness, in the south of Cumbria and are a local, family run home and garden destination with a difference. With two huge showrooms exhibiting our furniture and interior products and a covered outdoor garden centre that houses a huge array of plants, outdoor furniture and garden accessories to help you create the perfect home sanctuary.

And then there's The Bakehouse - the perfect conclusion to any visit! Our beautiful, bright coffee shop and restaurant offer the most delicious homemade cakes and hearty meals that cater to all tastes and dietary requirements. Quality, value for money and friendly service are at the heart of our family business. Whether you have a particular purchase in mind or simply fancy a browse, we can't wait to welcome you.

Pop into our beautiful garden centre cafe, The Bakehouse for some freshly brewed coffee and a delicious homemade cake or three. We offer a wide range of expert landscape gardening and groundwork services in Barrow, Dalton-in-Furness and Ulverston.

With over 25 years of experience in horticulture, Charnley's is definitely the place to make your garden grow.
Ideally located just off the A590 near Dalton-in-Furness, Charnley's Home and Garden Centre has the largest selection of plants, trees and shrubs in South Cumbria.
Our friendly, helpful staff are always on hand and happy to give you lots of great gardening tips and advice.
We also have all the garden accessories you need to help your garden thrive.
We can also help you add those finishing touches to make your garden absolutely perfect with our huge array of pots, water features, stone ornaments, solar lights and much more.
First and Second Earlies will give you "new potatoes" in the summer, Maincrops will give you tubers for eating in the autumn and enough to store over winter for later use.
First Earlies will typically be ready for harvesting in June/July, Second Earlies in July/August and Main Crops from August onward but if storing then can be harvested in September or October.
