Kubik furniture is a small company based in Surrey dedicated to designing and making fine contemporary furniture, to unique requiments of the individual commissioning client. Using traditional craftsmanship, exemplifies all the best in modern furniture design. The development of close relationship with the clients from initial brief, right through to the finished piece of furniture is something that I believe is important to ensuring customer satisfaction.
Emphasis is placed upon clean contemporary lines, making the most of the natural wood grain and colour. Often I use fine detailing such as bevels, to catch the change of light and shade. I spent two years in Rycotewood College studying Furniture Design and Craftsmanship gaining HNC in Design. While being a student I was awarded a 1st prize in the 1987 furniture Design Award Competition with exhibition held at Wembley Arena.
After the collage I gained experience working for leading furniture designers and makers. In 1990 I set up my workshop in beautiful part of Surrey near Reigate.
