This month's recent find a Maison Baguis style chandelier led us to research a little more about the company. Since its establishment in 1860, Maison Baguis has been an emblem of French sophistication in luxury design. Noted for their high end hand crafted work, such as complex carved sconces and hand-strung crystal lighting, Maison Baguis appealed to an elite clientele.

The 'Eternal City' ignited his interest in antiques, leading to a Diploma in Antiques & Fine Arts.
As architecture embraced art; antiques found a place in his designs.
Three years later, Sergio opened an antiques showroom in Rome, with a second seasonal shop in Ponza, an island close to Capri.

Ahura porcelain of Nove in the north of Italy was founded by Ezio & Flavia Zanardello in 1973.
The company name is inspired by the Zoroastrian figure of Ahura Mazda, "the Spirit that creates with thought".
Still a family business today the company is also known by the family surname Zanardello.
