Origins Design was founded in 1995 by Patrick Moulton Black in South Africa, where he was designing and manufacturing lighting, bowls, small domestic accessories and furniture.
After exhibiting at several international furniture fairs, the business quickly grew and by 2000, Patrick was supplying designers in the US, Europe and the UK.
