Northern Woodwright Furniture was started in order to further a passion for design and making, and to help others bring their visions into reality. Andrew is a graduate of the esteemed Chippendale International School of Furniture, and member of the Fine Furniture Guild. Being based in beautiful Scotland, we aim to use local timber in our projects, such as the now precious Elm and 'Cat's Paw' Oak, and embracing natural elements such as live-edges and spalted timber.
As well as working in wood, some of our past projects have involved welded steel and tempered glass.

Services
It all starts with design.
In the beginning of the design process, we establish the look, style, purpose and cost of a piece.
Once a baseline specification is made, we can move on to the final and more detailed design.
In the second design stage, we work closely with our clients to establish the final dimensions, features and appearance of a piece.
Using modern design software, photo-realistic images like the one above will be made, allowing clients to not only see what they will be receiving, but to also point out any changes they would like made before the design is signed off.
