Transfunk Furniture
We can help! We'll work with you to create the style and look that you desire for your home, without shelling out on brand new furniture. We use a range of designs and techniques to upcycle tired and unloved furniture including painting, distressing, stencilling, decoupage and upholstery. We have a dedicated shop space with a vast variety of classic, vintage and retro pieces in their original state, from gorgeous antique mahogany to more modern pine furniture.

What we don't have in stock we can look out for, so it's always worth chatting to us about your needs. We hoard loads of fun bits of fabric ready to use in our transformations. We work with modern upholstery materials and always ensure that we comply with the current fire safety regulations. For bigger projects we'll happily source the perfect fabric on behalf of our customers from reputable suppliers.

We always ensure that the furniture we transform is structurally sound and will fix any wobbles or loose bits. Furthermore we can restore damaged wooden surfaces to its former glory by sanding it back to bare wood and then finishing it with lovely hard wearing oil/wax products which are water and UV resistant.

This dark wood table was purchased in our shop and we were asked to restore the oak top.
