Furniture Plus is the largest furniture re-use, recycling and repair organisation in Fife. Our main aim is to combat poverty and social exclusion, especially homelessness. We do this through our core business activity of re-using, recycling and repairing furniture and other household goods which may have otherwise gone to landfill. This benefits local communities, both socially and environmentally, whilst generating core income to sustain the project.

We work throughout Fife, operating from two locations in Dysart and Dunfermline. Furniture Plus is a completely self-sustaining charity which does not receive core grant funding to provide the services that we offer which is why donated items are sold in our shops. All surpluses generated are re-invested into the Charity, with a significant amount set aside each year to provide furniture and other household items free of charge to people in most need.

At Furniture Plus we rely heavily on the kind donations of furniture, white goods, bric-a-brac and other general household goods that we receive from our fantastic donors.

No matter how small your donation may be, every little item helps a small family to furnish their family home who possibly can't afford new, or maybe just loves a bargain or two.
We collect from all over Fife five days a week for free and we can collect from any room in your house, saving you the hassle of moving your items out to the kerb.
Furniture Plus is a completely self-sustaining charity which does not receive core grant funding to provide the services that we offer which is why donated items are sold in our two store locations as well as in our online store.
The funds we raise from these sales all contribute directly to us continuing to run our services for our local community.
Our Revolve badge means you can be sure that we safety test our products, offer great products, good value and excellent customer service and carry our regular training and quality audits across all of our operations.
Our collection team will visit your property and check over the your donated items to ensure they meet the various reuse standards that we have to follow.
Once everything is good to go, they'll load up your donation onto the van and bring them back to one of our two stores.
Your donated goods will be prepped for sale and priced.
Once you item either sells or is gifted to someone in need in our community we'll claim Gift Aid to boost the value of your donation.*
The funds raised then go right back into the charity to help us sustain the project and reach even more families in need in our community.
Our clearance service is as comprehensive as you need it to be; we can clear away furniture, curtains, flooring, white goods, odds and ends and rubbish.
We can also clear out sheds, garages and any other out-buildings as part of a full clearance service.
We appreciate that often clearing a house can be an emotional time no matter the reason.
We always aim to make the job as simple and as hassle free for you as we can.
Our team are friendly, professional and understand that often they are dealing with possessions that may stir strong emotional memories with our customers.
