From our workshop and studio just outside Abergavenny, Pomfret Furniture offers a complete antiques restoration and conservation service. Matthew Pomfret's career started in woodwork at a young age and he has been continuously developing his talent for furniture design ever since leaving school in 1991, gaining his City and Guilds in Carpentry and Joinery at Pontypool college.
Matthew then completed a 3 year course in Cabinet Making at Brunel College, Bristol, receiving distinctions in all areas.
