We ask a lot from our living rooms. It's a space to which we retreat when our bodies call for cosiness; it's a space that has to beckon guests, making them feel instantly at home; it's a space that we ask to entertain, ready to awake from the slumber we asked from it only the day before.
We like to think of walls and furniture as the first layer of our home, which can then be accessorised with all those precious things that signpost our lives and tell our story. Group them together by colour, texture, shape or material and they instantly become more interesting; we love the combination of antique wood and chunky white ceramic, both of which are as lovely to touch as they are to look at.

The slim steel frame is powder coated and then baked, as an ode to the traditional process of quenching, and is left open-sided so it feels airy and ironically lightweight.
Solid oak forms the table surface which we've made rustic in the Neptune way by taking the highest quality timber through a seven-step finishing process including brushing, staining and sanding to celebrate the natural knots and swirls of the wood grain.
