The tops are then coloured to a medium mahogany colour and french polished with a high quality shellac polish.
We use a special cutting back process to slightly reduce the high gloss finish, which makes the table look more matured.
In certain types of table an oil finish can be applied offering a harder finish.
The oak draw leaf table in the bottom picture was hand stripped lightened and oiled.
