Behind our good name there's a wealth of knowledge and over 100 years of experience and expertise. The family business started in a small workshop in Kingsland Road, Shoreditch, London in 1903 when Harry Cohen, a Master Cabinet Maker and members of his family set up H Cohen, Upholsterers and Furniture Makers. The business survived two World Wars and become H Cohen and Sons when Harry's sons, Frank and his brothers, joined the company.
The business expanded and developed and was renamed Harco Upholstery in memory of Harry Cohen. Further development and expansion resulted in the creation of London Furniture Services in 1982 when Frank's sons, Michael and Simon joined. Michael became Managing Director after Frank retired and the company re-branded and became known as LFS UK. Through hard work and dedication, we have built up our reputation as a business that takes pride in what it does.
Our hands-on approach has earned us a loyal customer base of individuals, interior designers and commercial clients.
