I design and build bespoke furniture from wardrobes to bookcases and sideboards to tables; I design, construct and install projects myself, this way you get a very personal service. I regularly build fitted and freestanding furniture in traditional and contemporary designs. Quality and customer service is paramount and forms the core of the business.

I set up Worsley Woodworking with the aim to grow as a craftsman and to design and make fine furniture that will be cherished by generations.

By chance I started woodturning at 14 years old, this ignited a spark and before long I was awarded two scholarships from the Association of Woodturners of Great Britain (AWGB).
Following this confidence boost I started selling small pieces of work in a shop window.
Feeling inspired I took work experience at a local joinery company which later led to a five year cabinet making apprenticeship.

I believe furniture should first and foremost be practical, but there is nothing wrong in wanting a piece to be highly functional and pleasing to the senses.
I am more than happy to design in the style of a specific period, for example: Arts & Crafts, Shaker, Art Deco/Nouveau, Chippendale etc. Give me a challenge!
