My name is Oliver Piepereit and I'm a trained architectural interior designer with a passion in all aspects of arts, crafts & design.
I've wanted to design & make on a small scale for many years so pulled away from the rate race and trained up in furniture design, making, French polishing, furniture restoration and furniture refinishing.
Life in the rat race was tiring, stressful, monotonous and took valuable time away from what is important in life to me, family, and health.
Working in a practical creative environment has sculpted a life that is low in stress with an abundance of escapism which I'm sure translates in my work.

I've just taken delivery of the most amazing table made from the wine boxes that I was sure could be used to make something beautiful.
For the avoidance of doubt, I did not drink all the wine in the boxes, at least two boxes were scavenged!
As for all the other projects he's undertaken, Ollie was meticulous in keeping me informed of his progress and I enjoyed seeing the table come together.
The table now has pride of place in our sitting room and I am looking forward to opening a bottle of something appropriate to celebrate its arrival.
