Lynn Upholstery, a family firm, was established in 1971 by Bernard Lucker after many years of bespoke furniture making and upholstery in London. A move to Kings Lynn in 1971 saw the setting up of a thriving family business offering re-upholstery and the making of one off pieces of furniture to order. Stephen (Bernard's son) had always helped out in the workshop since childhood and joined his father full time in 1978.
Bernard died in 2005 leaving Stephen to carry on from a smaller workshop on the outskirts of Kings Lynn, where he is still in demand as a time served upholsterer. Stephen is now semiretired and no longer runs a showroom. Phone the workshop and he will call on you in your own home with the pattern books and advice.
