Inspired by the clean lines of modernism, Nick explores links between geometry, colour and function. Solid or engineered wood, combined with porcelain and acrylic introduces bold graphic lines in a considered approach that creates unique pieces of furniture and distinct light fittings. After a successful career project managing electrical installations, Nick trained in furniture design with Marc Fish at Robinson House Studio where his studio is now based.

Every piece in our bespoke furniture and lighting collection is unique.
Drawn to the clean lines of modernism, geometry, colour and function, every light and piece of furniture is hand made.
We are also available for commissions.
Our contemporary furniture is bold and striking.
Made from solid or engineering wood, our bespoke furniture is completely unique and gives an instant focal point to any room.

Valchromat is engineered panel made of wood fibres coloured in the production process.
The fibres are impregnated with organic colouring agents and bound to one another by a special resin.
Non toxic, moisture resistant, and fire resistant.
I use clear matt lacquer for finishing (second image).
These are examples of available real wood, finest quality veneers that I would recommend.
I think they work well with the Valchromat.
However there are many more veneers commonly available and I will gladly use veneers of your choice.
