Touchwood UK was founded in 1993 by Steve Harding and is a family-run business with the emphasis on good, friendly customer service - as shown by past customer testimonials. We have our own workshops in Martlesham, Suffolk along with a large kitchen and furniture showroom in Ipswich, Suffolk. We ship our freestanding polished or painted furniture all over the world and can also deliver within the UK.
All our products are handmade in our workshops using only the finest English, European & American timbers sourced from sustainable forests. Although we have a large portfolio of products to choose from, as shown on this website, we can make almost anything to our customer's exact specification and design. We deal with both the general public and trade and we are always happy to hear from any trade customer wishing to open an account to take advantage of our generous trade prices.

We have a large portfolio of many different styles of dining chairs for you to browse.
Please note that we do buy our chairs in from a regular supplier and we are therefore unable to amend any dimensions.
We can finish any of the chairs shown to your exact requirements, whether that be a painted, polished or upholstered finish.
You can choose the fabric on any of the upholstered finishes.

Cross Banding is a decorative feature which is mainly available on the tops of round and oval tables as well as around drawer fronts on certain items or tops of servers and chest of drawers.
Our cross banding is available in satinwood, oak, cherry, yew or walnut and below are some examples of these.

Our Cabriole Leg (28) and our Square Tapered Leg (27) are our most popular style of legs and can be used on most of the items in our range.
All legs can be scaled down or up, as applicable, in proportion with the dimensions and style of the item required.
