Services
There is a large choice of oak frame garages on the market at the moment from various companies; most of them are constructed using softwood studwork and weatherboard panels connected to a minimal oak frame thus resembling a traditional building.
Our garages are built using traditional tenon and mortised joints, 600mm scarfing joints and jowl dovetail tie beam arrangements all of which are prefit and draw dowelled.
By using these particular methods it means that when the frame starts to season and move (which is one of the characteristics of oak) the joints are designed to tighten and use the timber to the framers advantage.
